What lessons are offered?
We offer lessons in voice, piano, violin, cello, guitar, drums, saxophone, clarinet, and flute.
What ages are welcome?
We offer lessons to 1st graders through adult.
What is the cost for registration and lessons?
There is a non-refundable yearly registration fee per family due at the time of registration. ($35 for CATC/CFCA members & $50 for nonmembers) Lesson cost: $30 for 30 min. & $50 for 60 min.
How do I know which length of lesson to choose?
Usually 30 minutes is recommended for young/unexperienced students. Your instructor can assist in deciding what lesson length would be best.
When are tuition payments due? And what are my payment options?
Tuition payments are due monthly. (Every 4-5 weeks) You will receive a Payment Schedule at the time of enrollment listing all the due dates and tuition amounts. Payment can be made by cash, check (made payable to CATC – memo line: Performing Arts Academy), or online by credit card.

(Be sure to select “Performing Arts Academy” next to “giving type”, and enter the student’s name on the memo line.)
Where are lessons taught?
All classes are taught on the Church at the Cross/Central Florida Christian Academy campus in the 2-story Joy Building with the exception of Drum lessons which are taught in room 127/128 in the C Bldg. (Youth Bldg.)
How often are lessons taught?
One lesson is given per week. (Monday – Friday)
What if we need to drop from lessons during the year?
You may drop from lessons, with a mandatory 2-week advance notice, at any time and return at any time within that same year without having to re-register.
Do you rent instruments to students?
We do not rent instruments at this time. The following businesses are recommended for instrument rental/purchase:
Violin – Atlantic Strings, 750 N. Mills Ave., Orlando & Garden Music Store, 40 S. Main St., Winter Garden
Guitar – Sam Ash Music Store, 4644 E. Colonial Dr., Orlando
How do I obtain music for lessons?
The instructor will let you know what music they want you to purchase, or will have you reimburse them for music they have purchased. When reimbursing an instructor with a check, please make sure that it is payable to your instructor, NOT Performing Arts Academy of Central Florida.
